Sports Injury

Many people who play sports will suffer from injuries at some point during their time playing sports. Spinal injuries can reduce strength, shorten endurance, restrict motion and decrease overall performance in athletes, which can be resolved through Chiropractic care, restoring function to spinal joints that are not moving properly. As well as bringing motion back to the joints and reducing pain, chiropractic care can also reduce inflammation in the affected areas. Range of motion in your joints is vital for your ligaments, muscles and tendons to function properly, and injuries to these areas can often stop you from being able to play the game for long amounts of time. Often if the joints are not functioning properly then the healing process of the soft tissues is going to be slowed down, chiropractic can often bring the motion back to these joints and speed up the healing process. It must be remembered that sports injuries in children if ignored can have a detrimental effect on their growth and development.
